When Marie contacted me in 2019 to photograph her wedding in New England, COVID-19 wasn’t being talked about in the states. Blissfully unaware of what the 2020 season would look like, I booked many weddings, theirs included, and didn’t get to shoot many engagement sessions. So, some of my couples were super understanding and shot with me after their wedding or right before, once COVID-19 was a little bit more understood.

Marie and Matthew met me in the parking lot of Echo Lake State Park, right next to another famous New Hampshire landmark, Cathedral Ledge. Just a short walk led us to a beautiful little beach and some amazing foliage. Their carefree spirits were just perfect for the atmosphere that day. They had the entire park to themselves and I couldn’t have been more grateful to capture these photographs with them. Enjoy!
